We’re always being asked by visitors on Seafaris trips where the best places to eat are around Jersey.

Below, we’ve put together a mix, from cheap eat cafes to fine dining restaurants, all from the Seafaris crew list of favourites from across the island.

If you’re visiting St Helier on a shopping trip or just exploring Jersey’s main town, this is the place to stop for a light lunch and a cup of coffee.

La Belle Gourmande

Located near the picturesque 17th century harbour of St Aubin, this boutique bistro and delicatessen offers delicious seasonal food.

Nude Food - Beach

This cafe has two locations on the Island, one situated in the heart of St Helier, the other on the beach front at St Aubin. Whilst both offer clean eating menus, we’d suggest heading to St Aubin to lap up the sunshine and take a stroll on the beach after you eat.

The Hungry Man

This very popular cafe situated on the pier at Rozel has been saving hungry fisherman and hungover party goers from certain death since 1947. The cafe’s menu ranges from homemade cakes to gourmet burgers and local crab sandwiches.

Colleens Cafe

Situated along the pier at Greve de Lecq this beloved family friendly cafe has an extensive menu to cater for everyone. After you finished eating why not take a stroll on the golden sand or brave a swim.

Lazin Lizard Restaurant

Discover the Lazin Lizard in the heart of St. Aubin. This cosy restaurant next door to the harbour is the ideal setting to enjoy some magnificent concoctions of South African influenced food, full of flavour and spices.

Sumas Restaurant

Situated under the ominous castle of Mont Orgueil with stunning views across Gorey harbour, Sumas has been a favourite with locals since it opened in 97’. The diverse menu of features Jersey shellfish, including scallops, oysters and lobster.

Our top tip: Reserve the terrace (below)… also, go for brekkie.

Longueville Manor Hotel & Restaurant

Situated in one of Jersey’s oldest manor houses means your experience starts before you even step through the doors. The menu revolves around the local produce grown in Victorian kitchen garden on the grounds.

Our top tip: For cost saving try the incredible lunchtime set menu

Number 10 Restaurant & Bar

This popular family run restaurant, headed up by chef Joe Baker, has been serving fresh seasonal produce to locals and tourists alike since 2016. Below the restaurant is Bar 10, a basement cocktail and wine bar where you can enjoy a pre or post dinner drink.

Our top tip: If you're not overly hungry then enjoy a small plate downstairs.

Portelet Bay Cafe

Tucked away down in the picturesque Portelet, this little family run cafe/ restaurant offers authentic wood fired pizza, freshly caught fish and local seasonal veggies. Access to the premises is by foot down the steps or via boat.

Our top tip: Go for the prosciutto pizza

BONUS eatery from our crew Josh - Sands

Sands, in Josh’s words, is a “fantastic cafe where you get great value for money” and where they always “provide consistently good food”. Lets just say that Josh is a veteran food taster and you should take his advice and go there. The cafe offers typical seaside food done well, that doesn’t come with a big price tag.

Josh’s top tip: Try the homemade cake
